Desert Bloom Creative was my dream. As a girl from New Mexico who fell in love with the art of filmmaking, creating a business that speaks to the space both take up in my heart was everything I wanted. 

In elementary school I learned I loved to write and tell stories. Since about middle school all I was interested in was anything that had to do with a camera. Put them together in high school and I found filmmaking! In all four years of high school and college I was given endless opportunity to write and create, to learn the very art of storytelling itself. 

My little southwestern hometown was a wealth of inspiration through its beauty and rich culture. It was there I graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelors in digital filmmaking and minor in creative writing. 

I fell into weddings around 19. At first it was just practice for me in my art form. As years past I began to realize that each wedding was an opportunity to tell a new and personal love story. I’ve been filming weddings for about 10 years now, I spent several years filming or editing weddings for larger nationwide companies where I gained much experience but lacked the space and freedom to make each story as unique and artistic as I believe they deserve. 

So here we are. Desert Bloom Creative is just that, an expansive creative space. I write, edit, and film, all for hire to tell others stories in whatever capacity they need. As well as a space to tell my own.
